Nyssa P. Chopra is a Tech + Privacy Lawyer at Perkins Coie LLP, specializing in privacy and data security. As co-chair of the Data Security and Privacy Committee for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, Nyssa also founded Mentor in Law, a global mentorship platform for law students and lawyers. Nyssa is a 2024 LCLD Pathfinder and has held fellowships with the World Affairs Council of Seattle and the Washington State Bar Association. Previous experience includes legal roles at Microsoft, the Federal Trade Commission, and as co-founder and CEO of iHeartMD. Nyssa holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law and a Master of Science in Human Rights from The London School of Economics and Political Science, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from UC San Diego.
