Selena Kim is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience, currently serving as a member of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association and as a commissioner for the American Bar Association Commission on Women in the Profession since October 2024. Alongside these roles, Selena is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and co-chairs the Women's Leadership Network at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, positions held since January 2018. With a career at Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP beginning in 2002 as a partner, lawyer, and patent agent, Selena has also taken on leadership roles, including past chair of the American Bar Association’s International Patent Treaties and Laws Committee from September 2019 to September 2022. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Victoria, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Cellular and Molecular Biology from York University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Molecular Biology from McMaster University.
