Ben Mjolsness

Ben Mjolsness is a seasoned sustainability professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on environmental management and sustainability initiatives. Currently serving as the Sustainability Manager and previously as the Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Naperville, Ben has a proven track record of enhancing sustainability practices. Ben's previous roles include National Account Manager at Prime360®, and Sustainability Consultant at Waste Management, where innovative solutions to waste reduction and sustainability were key focuses. Experiences also include leadership positions at Republic Services, Pitchfork Music Festival, Solid Waste Solutions Corp., Gads Hill Center, and Metropolitan Mayors Caucus. Ben holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management & Sustainability from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in English from DePaul University.
