Richard Borel has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Richard started their career as a General Manager for digitalcity Boston and later became the General Manager for AOL/digitalcity New York. Richard then worked as a Regional Sales Director and a Regional Account Executive for AOL/Time Warner. Moving forward, Borel became the President of Borel & Company where they developed strategic internet-based sales and marketing initiatives for Metro International. Richard also worked with senior executives to establish the US operations sales organization and compensation plans. Later, they joined Premier Properties of SW Florida as the Director of e-Commerce, overseeing the redesign of the company's signature websites. Borel then joined E W Scripps as the Innovation Team Business Development Manager and later became the Advertising Director at Naples Daily News, responsible for the Real Estate and Finance Sales team.
Richard Borel obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in the years 1961 to 1964. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Finance at The Wharton School from 1964 to 1966.
