Gregg Christy

Gregg Christy has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Gregg worked as a Finance Manager at Napo Pet Insurance in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Commercial Finance Business Partner at River Island from January 2023 to June 2023. From March 2021 to September 2022, they served as a Senior Finance Analyst at DAZN Group, where they managed financial growth for sporting bodies and organizations. Before that, they worked at Deloitte UK as an Assistant Manager and later as a Senior Associate, where they handled audit engagements for private-equity backed businesses. In addition, Gregg has also served as the Treasurer, Chairperson, and Cycling Committee member at UCT Cycling Club, where they managed budgeting, sponsorship agreements, and the overall running of the club. Gregg has also gained experience in the banking industry through the CASE 2016 Delegate program at Nedbank. In 2015, they worked as a Cycling Coach at Bishops Diocesan College and as a Vacation Student at MGI Bass Gordon.

Gregg Christy's education history begins with completing high school at Bishops Diocesan College from 2008 to 2012. Gregg then attended the University of Cape Town from 2013 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2017, they pursued further studies at the University of Cape Town and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting.

Additionally, Gregg Christy has obtained several certifications related to their field. In March 2018, they completed the SAICA ITC certification from SAICA CA(SA). In February 2020, they obtained the SAICA APC certification from the same institution. Most recently, in March 2021, Gregg Christy acquired the Chartered Accountant (South Africa) designation from SAICA CA(SA).
