Chandan Palei

Chandan Palei has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and maintenance. Starting in 2011, Chandan worked as a Maintenance Engineer at M/S JABAMAYEE FERROALLOYS LTD, where they conducted maintenance of electrical and electronics equipment, managed electrical maintenance of plant equipment, and performed operation and maintenance of various equipment such as VCB, ACB, MCCB, compressors, pumps, and furnaces. In 2013, Chandan joined Balasore Alloys Limited as an Assistant Manager, where they continued to excel in their maintenance responsibilities until 2019. From 2019 to 2020, Chandan worked as a Site Lead Maintenance (Electro-Mech) at MMPL- Tata Steel ltd. and then as an Engineering And Maintenance Manager at Medica Hospitals Pvt. Ltd. from 2020 to 2023. Currently, Chandan is the Head of Engineering & Maintenance at Narayana Health.

Chandan Palei has a diverse education history. From 2002 to 2004, they attended Bord of Secondary Education, Orissa, where they pursued a High School degree with a focus on Basic Skills and Developmental/Remedial Education. Subsequently, from 2004 to 2006, they enrolled in Council of Higher Secondary Education, Orissa, where they obtained a Science degree, specialising in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Moving on to higher education, Chandan attended Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, from 2006 to 2010. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued an Engineering degree, majoring in Electrical, at the same university.

To enhance their professional qualifications, Chandan obtained various certifications. In 2021, they received certification from Siemens in "Protection System in Low Voltage Power Distribution" and "Air Circuit Breaker Installation & Maintenance". In 2020, they obtained certifications from Tata Steel in "Power System Protection" and "TQM" (Total Quality Management). Chandan also acquired certifications from TUV India Pvt. Ltd. in "FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) Regulations", "FSSC Ver.5 (Food Safety System Certification)", and "Six Sigma Awareness". Furthermore, they received certifications in "Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)" and "Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)" from the Central Tool Room & Training Centre (MSME) Government of India in 2020.
