Adeyinka Olubunmi Fasakin serves as the Chief Executive of the Chemical and Environmental Safety Initiative since August 2014, focusing on community extension services related to chemical and environmental safety. Currently a Professor at the National Research Institute For Chemical Technology (NARICT) in Zaria since September 2021, Adeyinka also participates as a member of the Committee for the Drafting of National Policy on Chemical Technology. Previous roles include a lecturer position at Ekiti State University (EKSU) from May 2008 to November 2023, and lecturer roles at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, from May 1999 to April 2008. Adeyinka's experience also includes working as an Associate at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) from 2013 to 2014. Adeyinka holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Ibadan, earned between 1979 and 1983.
