Elizabeth Kohr

Elizabeth Kohr is a skilled chemist currently employed at the Narragansett Bay Commission in Rhode Island since June 2018. Prior to this role, Elizabeth served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Rhode Island from August 2014 to May 2017, focusing on teaching General Chemistry laboratories. Elizabeth holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Forensic Science from Waynesburg University, complemented by minors in biology and mathematics. Elizabeth's research experience includes developing new polymers for organic solar cells at the Colorado School of Mines during an undergraduate internship in 2013 and engineering and marketing internships at Nexcelom Bioscience. Elizabeth earned a Master's degree in Chemistry and Business from the University of Rhode Island from 2014 to 2017, following a high school diploma from Andover High School.
