Jack Beierle

Jack Beierle has extensive experience in the biotechnology industry. Jack is currently the CSO, VP R&D, and Co-Founder of Narwhal Bio Inc. Prior to this position, they worked as the CEO and Scientific Consultant at Butterfly Biotech Consulting, LLC, where they specialized in Chemistry, Materials, and Biochemistry in Next Gen Sequencing and Next Gen Proteomics.

Before that, Jack served as the Vice President of Sequencing Chemistries at Roswell Biotechnologies. Jack also held the role of Senior Director of Chemistry at Encodia, Inc. and worked as a Staff Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist in the Chemistry and Materials Team Lead at Illumina.

Jack's experience also includes their time as an Assistant Project Scientist at the University of California, Irvine and as an NSF International Research Fellow at the University of Groningen. Jack gained research experience as a Graduate Student at The Scripps Research Institute and as a J. William Fulbright Fellow at Universite Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg.

Jack Beierle received their B.S. in Chemistry from Boston College from 1999 to 2003. Jack then pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Scripps Research between 2004 and 2009. In 2014 and 2015, Jack pursued an Executive Perspective in Science and Engineering (EPSE) program at UC San Diego, focusing on Executive Management.
