Salwa Abdussabur

Salwa Abdussabur is an experienced executive and creative professional with a strong background in community engagement and public relations. Currently serving as Executive Director at Black Haven since November 2019 and as a Creative Community Fellow at NAS since January 2022, Abdussabur has also held roles as a Public Ally and YLead Curator and Facilitator at CD Tech Los Angeles and SoulfulofNoise, respectively, during 2019-2020. Previous positions include Artist in Residence at Yale New Haven Hospital and Youth Programs Developer at The Word New Haven. Abdussabur has pursued education at Los Angeles Trade Technical College and CT State Gateway.
