Christina Justice is a Principal Faculty Specialist at the University of Maryland, where responsibilities include leading the GEOGLAM Crop Monitor for Early Warning, an international initiative assessing crop growing conditions and agro-climatic impacts on global production. With a diverse background in agricultural monitoring and remote sensing, Christina has held positions as a Senior Faculty Specialist and Research Fellow at the FAO, coordinating the use of satellite data for food security. Previous roles include field coordinator for the Gates-funded AgriSense Africa project in Tanzania and research positions at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Christina holds a Master of Science in Geographical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland.
