Deep Mukherji

Deep Mukherji is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in mission planning at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since February 2020. Prior roles include serving as a Software and Simulation Engineer at METECS, where Deep Mukherji led the development of the BFS Executive system for the Orion Backup Flight Software and facilitated hardware-in-the-loop testing for the Orion Ascent Abort 2 Simulation. Additional experience encompasses work as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, where Deep Mukherji developed aircraft power management protocols and control systems for robots. Internship experience includes software engineering at Odyssey Space Research, focusing on verification and validation for the Orion Spacecraft's EM-1 mission.
