Jay Dyson has extensive experience in the field of IT Security and has worked for multiple organizations in various roles. Jay started their career at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 1995, where they served as a Security Engineer and System Architect for several projects until 2009. During their time at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, they were responsible for creating and evaluating security solutions, authoring security policies and procedures, and providing IT security outreach and awareness. Prior to working at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Jay Dyson worked at West Valley IT Software & Services as a Security, Software & Systems Analyst, where they assessed, recommended, and implemented software solutions and system improvements for small and medium businesses. Additionally, they worked at OneSecure as a Senior Security Engineer, where they acquired, developed, and deployed security solutions for various customers. Overall, Jay Dyson has a proven track record in IT security and has spearheaded numerous initiatives in this field.

Jay Dyson has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a specialization in Information Security Systems from the University of Phoenix, earned from 2008 to 2011. Jay also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, completed from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they have self-taught himself various skills such as Computer & Network Security, Programming, Professional Writing, Ethics, and Commercial Illustration. Jay Dyson holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), which they obtained in October 2008.
