John Ziemer is an accomplished Program Area Manager at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), specializing in Strategic Missions and Technology within the Astronomy and Physics Formulation Office since July 2000. With extensive experience in precision spacecraft dynamics and control, John has contributed to various projects, including leading the development of colloid microthrusters for the ESA-led LISA Mission and managing the Starshade Technology Project. A former Principal Engineer, John has played pivotal roles in multiple technology development initiatives, including the Space Technology 7 project and the JPL Innovation Foundry.
