Rashmi Shah

Rashmi Shah currently serves as the Technical Group Supervisor of the Water and Ecosystem Group at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where leadership involves guiding a team of scientists in studying the interactions of freshwater with Earth's systems through advanced remote sensing techniques. Rashmi has held various significant roles at JPL, including Project Lead for the NASA InVEST Mission SNOOPI, and contributions to the Earth Science and Technology Directorate's initiatives. Additionally, Rashmi is a Venture Investor at VU Venture Partners and has an extensive academic background, including a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue University, where previous roles encompassed mentoring graduate students and conducting research as part of multiple NASA-affiliated projects. Early experience includes technical assistance and engineering roles at Rochester Institute of Technology and Starlab Barcelona.
