Anita Dey serves as the Strategic Partnerships Manager for Outreach & Engagement within NASA's Science Mission Directorate, where responsibilities include forging partnerships with organizations such as the Department of Defense, the American Camp Association, and 4-H, while advising executives on strategic outreach initiatives. Dey has engaged with numerous media outlets to promote significant astronomical events such as eclipses and has coordinated educational campaigns for the Webb Space Telescope, resulting in substantial community involvement. Prior to NASA, Dey held various roles at the Federal Communications Commission, including Acting Chief of the Consumer Affairs and Outreach Division, where Dey led consumer outreach strategies and developed educational materials. Anita Dey holds a Master's Degree in International Communications from American University and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
