Eric Drake is an accomplished engineer currently serving as a Payload Utilization Systems Engineer for the Human Landing System at NASA, where responsibilities include designing and testing electronic power systems for spaceflight and conducting circuit simulations. Eric has participated in the Marshall Systems Engineering Leadership Development Program and completed program management details and roles within NASA, including serving as an International Space Station flight controller. Prior to NASA, Eric worked as a Communications/Navigation Systems Engineer at Boeing and gained early experience as an Engineering Intern at NASA. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, a Master’s Degree in Materials Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, all obtained from Oklahoma State University.
