James Dickson

James Dickson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in aerospace and engineering, currently serving as the US Deorbit Vehicle (USDV) Project Manager at NASA since November 2021. In this role, James oversees the integration and acceptance coordination of the USDV for the safe deorbit of the International Space Station (ISS), while also facilitating technical integration and issue resolution among various NASA communities. Prior to this position, James held multiple leadership roles at Boeing, including Lead ISS MER Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing support teams and resolving operational issues related to ISS missions. With a solid educational background, including a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Anthropology from Florida State University, James possesses a diverse skill set that has been applied throughout a remarkable career in the space industry.
