Kelsey Bisson

Kelsey Bisson, PhD, is a Program Scientist and Manager at NASA Headquarters, engaged in the Ocean Biology & Biogeochemistry (OBB) and Rapid Response & Novel Research in Earth Science (RRNES) programs. Kelsey holds a 20% appointment as research faculty at Oregon State University and utilizes satellites, mathematical modeling, and field data to study marine ecosystems and extreme Earth system events. Previously, Kelsey served as a postdoctoral researcher at Oregon State University and as Principal Investigator at UCSB, focusing on innovative communication of oceanography through various creative mediums. Kelsey earned a PhD in Biogeochemical Oceanography from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor's degree in Geosciences and Math from The Ohio State University.
