Lakiesha Hawkins is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience at NASA, where involvement spans from June 2010 to the present. Currently serving as the Assistant Deputy Associate Administrator for the Moon to Mars Program, Lakiesha provides leadership and integration across critical programs, focusing on mission development, integration, and risk management for deep space exploration initiatives. Past roles include Deputy Manager of the Human Landing System Program, where strategy, acquisition, and risk management were prioritized, and Manager of Human Landing System Program Planning and Control, overseeing business operations. Prior to NASA, Lakiesha worked as a Propulsion Engineer at Jacobs Technology and as a Project Engineer at Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne. Academically, Lakiesha holds a Master of Science from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida A & M University.
