Mark Welch

Mark Welch has extensive experience in aerospace engineering and operations, having worked with NASA since August 1996 in various leadership roles, including Commercial Crew Program Boeing and SpaceX Verification and Validation (V&V) Lead and Space Flight Vehicle Operations. Responsibilities included the development of operational products and oversight for next-generation manned spaceflight vehicles as well as technical assistance for the CST-100 vehicle under the Boeing services contract. Prior experience includes roles as Morpheus Operations Lead, Commercial Crew Vehicle Systems Operations for Boeing Contract Support, and Technical Lead for Space Shuttle Electrical Power Systems at United Space Alliance. Mark Welch holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and has completed postgraduate studies in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
