Peter Lillehei

Peter Lillehei is currently the Chief Operations Officer for the Systems Analysis and Concepts Directorate at NASA Langley Research Center. Throughout their career, Dr. Lillehei has held various roles across multiple NASA organizations, including serving as Deputy Director for Structures and Materials, Technical Advisor for Innovation, and Principal Investigator in the Space Technology Mission Directorate. They have extensive experience in technical management, project management, and business development, with a focus on fostering relationships across organizations and addressing the challenges faced by mission-focused entities. Dr. Lillehei holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology and dual Bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
