Valerie Sayre, MA, LMFT, is a seasoned psychotherapist and licensed marriage and family therapist with over two decades of experience in mental health services. Since December 2011, Valerie has worked at Nystrom & Associates, Ltd., providing psychotherapy with a focus on an Adlerian theoretical base and integrative counseling approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Valerie's extensive background includes roles such as Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Practitioner and Adult Mental Health Social Worker, as well as significant experience in educational settings and community programs. Valerie holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Home Economics and Psychology from St. Olaf College.
