Yulissa Cortina

Yulissa Cortina is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in sports media and digital marketing. Currently serving as Manager of Racing Communications at NASCAR since January 2022, Yulissa has ascended through various roles within the organization, previously holding positions as Senior Coordinator and Coordinator in the same department. Prior experience includes the Valero Alamo Bowl, where responsibilities included drafting press releases and managing media credentialing, and the Dallas Mavericks, where Yulissa assisted in game day communications. Additional roles with the Vancouver Bandits and Dallas Sidekicks involved editorial contributions and public relations efforts. Yulissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Texas Christian University, where involvement included co-hosting a Spanish radio football broadcast.
