Alex Knighton

Alex Knighton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They currently work as a Project Manager at NASCENT Technology, LLC since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Event Delivery Consultant at RainFocus from October 2022 onwards. In this role, they effectively communicated project status and provided technical guidance, while also developing internal resources for performance improvement.

Before joining RainFocus, Alex worked at Payson City for five years as a Lead Detective, streamlining processes and implementing software innovations. They also managed consumer-facing webpages and served as the chief web administrator.

Between 2016 and 2017, Alex worked as a JJS Technician at the State of Utah, where they facilitated communication, devised intervention strategies, and provided case management services.

Prior to that, they held a role as a Tech Champion/Frontline Staff Member at Mountain America Credit Union from April 2013 to May 2016. In this position, they ensured branch operations ran smoothly during service downtime, collaborated on process improvement and compliance, and proposed software applications for unique requirements.

Alex began their career as a Bank Teller at America First Credit Union in December 2011, where they worked for five years.

Alex Knighton has a diverse education history. They first attended Bingham High School and obtained a High School Diploma in 2009. Later, they enrolled at Utah Valley University and earned an Associate of Science degree in Public Service in 2017. During the same period, Alex also joined the P.O.S.T Academy at Utah Valley University to become a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO). They pursued further studies at the university and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement in 2021. Additionally, they are currently undertaking a certificate program in Agile and Scrum Fundamentals through edX, which is expected to be completed in 2022.
