Christa Baumes has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Christa began their career in 2004 as a Long Term Home Health Care Coordinator at the Community Health Center of St. Mary's Healthcare and Nathan Littauer Hospital. Christa then joined Nascentia Health in 2009 as an Intake Coordinator and worked in that role until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at VNA Homecare Options as a Care Manager-Managed Long Term Care. Christa returned to Nascentia Health in 2014 and held various roles, including Clinical House Supervisor, Regional Program Director, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Care Management since June 2020.

Christa Baumes has an extensive education history in the field of healthcare and administration. In 1997, they graduated from West Genesee High School with a Regents Diploma. Following high school, they pursued their passion for nursing and obtained an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing from St. Elizabeth College of Nursing in 2003. Building on their nursing background, they went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from Keuka College in 2016.

Recognizing the importance of furthering their career in healthcare administration, Christa pursued a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration- Leadership from Capella University, which they completed in 2020. In 2021, they continued their education at Western Governors University, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on healthcare.

Currently, Christa Baumes is pursuing another Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
