Steve Matthews

Steve Matthews has over 20 years of experience in the legal and compliance field. Steve began their career in 2000 as an Associate at the Financial Services Authority. In 2004, they moved to Citi as a Vice President and Compliance Officer. Steve then joined Credit Suisse in 2005 as a Vice President and Compliance Officer. In 2008, they joined Nasdaq as a Principal Associate General Counsel and Head of Legal & Compliance, NASDAQ Europe. In 2021, they moved to Nasdaq Private Market as VP and Senior Legal Counsel.

Steve Matthews completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies (BVC) at the Inns of Court School of Law from 1998 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained an LLB (Hons) in Law from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1995 to 1998.
