Matt Buckley

Matt Buckley is a PhD student in the Computer Systems and Networks group at the University of Toronto, with a focus on network design and algorithms. They have held various roles, including Data Engineer at Capital One, Application Developer at Roche, and Researcher at Google. Previously, Matt worked as a Java Analytics Software Developer at Verafin and interned in Survey Methodology at Statistics Canada. They earned a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University, followed by a Master of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. Currently, they serve as a Senior Software Developer in Data Warehousing Infrastructure at Nasdaq.
