Valerie Bannert-Thurner

Valerie Bannert-Thurner is an accomplished executive with significant experience in the fintech sector, currently serving as EVP and Chief Revenue Officer of the FinTech Division at Nasdaq since January 2013, following a series of senior leadership roles including Senior Vice President of various business units focused on financial crime technology, risk and surveillance, and buy and sell-side solutions. Prior to Nasdaq, Valerie held senior positions at FTEN and Skyler Technology, where responsibilities included managing directors and business development. An academic background includes a PhD in Technology & Innovation Management and a Master of Science in Industrial Management and Business Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, ETH Zurich.
