Emma Ahmad

Emma Ahmad has a diverse background in the arts and museum education, currently serving as a Visitor Experiences Facilitator at the Nasher Sculpture Center since September 2021. Previously, Emma held the position of Museum Education Fellow at the Amon Carter Museum and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Texas. Emma has experience as an Art Teacher at the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum, where curriculum development for K-6 art classes was a primary responsibility. Additionally, Emma interned at Artpace San Antonio, where project management for a major festival and oversight of fundraising efforts were key tasks, and also completed a summer internship at the San Antonio Museum of Art. Emma holds a Master of Arts degree in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Arts degree in the same field from the University of Texas at Austin.
