Crystal Coolbaugh

Crystal Coolbaugh has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Crystal most recently worked as a Scientific Project and Program Manager at Nashville Biosciences since November 2020. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science, where they held several roles including Senior Staff Scientist from October 2018 to November 2020, Staff Scientist from October 2016 to September 2018, and Research Fellow from December 2013 to September 2016. Crystal also worked at UC Davis as a Graduate Student Researcher from September 2007 to November 2013 and as a Teaching Assistant from January 2008 to June 2013. In addition, they gained industry experience at Nike through multiple roles as a Cushioning Innovation Co-op from 2004 to 2006. Crystal's work experience includes managing projects, conducting research, leading teams, coordinating operations, and communicating research findings through publications and presentations.

Crystal Coolbaugh earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, from 2007 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati between 2002 and 2007. In June 2020, they also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
