Jamie Wenke has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences and research. From 2010 to 2016, Jamie worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University, where they conducted studies on post-translational modifications of aging lens proteins using mass spectrometry techniques. They received various accolades, including a 3-year predoctoral trainee position and a Graduate Fellowship Honor Award. Jamie also played an active role in the department, organizing workshops and conferences, and serving as President of the Biochemistry Student Association. In 2016, Jamie joined Nashville Biosciences as a Scientific Project & Program Manager, working on genetic research projects and utilizing advanced technology and algorithms to advance R&D efforts.

Jamie Wenke earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The University of Kansas from 2006 to 2010. Later, from 2010 to 2016, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Vanderbilt University.
