Brent Baker

Brent Baker currently serves as the VP - Chief Customer and Innovation Officer at Nashville Electric Service, a position held since June 2023. Previously, Brent held several leadership roles at City Utilities of Springfield, including Vice President - Chief Customer Officer, where a focus was placed on transforming customer experience strategies, and as Associate General Manager - Customer Operations & Communications at Liberty Utilities, leading national customer experience operations. At Liberty Utilities, Brent oversaw a team of 300 employees, managing significant operational and capital expenditures. Brent’s earlier experience includes roles at The Empire District Electric Company, culminating as Vice President of Customer Service, where comprehensive oversight of customer service and engineering was provided. Brent's career began with a water engineering co-op at City Utilities of Springfield. Brent holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
