Brenton Montgomery

Energy Services Divison at Nashville Electric Service

Brenton Montgomery, P.E., possesses extensive experience in energy services and military leadership. Currently, Brenton serves in the Energy Services Division at Nashville Electric Service since July 2019. While continuing service in the Army National Guard as a Senior Manager and Lieutenant Colonel since May 2007, Brenton oversees an engineer battalion of over 500 personnel. Prior roles include Program Manager for Lockheed Martin's Gridstar energy storage system, where responsibilities spanned engineering and construction management across the Central United States, as well as Associate Program Manager for large-scale energy solutions. Brenton's experience also encompasses leadership training with Winsupply and project management at Memphis Light, Gas and Water, focusing on substation and transmission projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Mississippi and an Executive Education Certificate in Leadership in Homeland Security from Harvard University.
