Corey Nelson

Corey Nelson is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in plant engineering and project management. Currently serving as an engineer at Nashville Electric Service since January 2021, Corey previously held the position of Plant Engineering Supervisor at UPS, where responsibilities included overseeing maintenance for a 450,000 sq. ft. facility, managing a team of over 25 mechanics, and ensuring optimal performance of automated systems. Corey's experience also encompasses project engineering, during which the construction and implementation of an automated conveying system were managed, ensuring compliance with electrical standards and resolving technical issues during installation. Corey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, earned in 2017.
