Mike Nelson

Mike Nelson is an experienced engineering professional with a comprehensive background in energy services and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Nashville Electric Service since May 2017, Mike has previously held various roles at Schneider Electric from 2004 to 2017, including Engineering Supervisor, Project Manager, Staff Application Engineer, and Senior Application Engineer, where responsibilities ranged from leading engineering teams to designing power monitoring systems. Earlier in Mike's career, as an Electrical EIT at Smith Seckman Reid, Inc., Mike focused on producing electrical plans for water and wastewater facilities. Mike holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
