Alexis Brown

Assistant Director, Women’s Life Recovery at Nashville Rescue Mission

Alexis Brown has extensive experience in social work and community support, currently serving as the Assistant Director for Women’s Life Recovery at Nashville Rescue Mission since April 2021. Previous roles include Family Case Manager at Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, where Alexis developed essential case plans for life transformation and self-sufficiency, and various positions at Mission Viejo Christian Church and Union Station Homeless Services, where Alexis focused on mentoring and support programs. Additionally, Alexis has held youth ministry roles at Fellowship Monrovia Church and CROSSLINE Community Church. Academic qualifications include a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, expected in May 2024, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Azusa Pacific University.
