Lars Strand

Lars Strand is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the National Liaison Officer at the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) since January 2023, facilitating communication between ENISA and Member States. Previously, Lars has held the position of Specialist Director Cyber Security at the Nasjonal sikkerhetsmyndighet, contributing to Norway's national cyber security efforts since November 2015, and was a Managing Consultant at Nofas AS from January 2012 to October 2015. Additionally, Lars gained experience as a Senior Systems Engineer at Redpill Linpro while completing a PhD in Computer Science specializing in network security at the Norwegian Computing Center, where Lars was a PhD Fellow from August 2007 to July 2011. Lars's career also includes work as a Systems Engineer at Linpro AS, where Lars served as a board member. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a focus on Network Security from the University of Oslo.
