Marie Iversdatter Røsok is a linguist with extensive experience in language technology and development. Currently employed at the National Library of Norway since January 2020, Marie contributes to Språkbanken by working on projects related to automatic speech recognition and speech assistants. Prior positions include associate linguist at Google Norway, where responsibilities included developing Natural Language Understanding and Generation systems, and development linguist at Appen, focusing on a grammar checker for Norwegian Bokmål. Marie's academic background consists of a Master's degree in Linguistics and Bachelor's degrees in English Language and English Language and Literature from the University of Oslo and the University of Leeds, respectively. Additional experience includes roles as a research assistant and a check-out supervisor at Coop Norge.
