Anirban Mukherjee

Anirban Mukherjee is a seasoned financial services executive with extensive experience in fintech and digital payments. Currently, Anirban serves as the Head of Naspers Fintech and CEO of PayU India, actively contributing to the global leadership team and serving as a board member for PayU Payments since February 2019. Previously, Anirban was a member of the Jio leadership team and Co-CEO of Reliance Payments Solutions Ltd from January 2015 to January 2019, where contributions included leading the digital payments division. Anirban's earlier tenure at Standard Chartered Bank, from June 2010 to December 2014, comprised roles such as Managing Director and Group Head of Payments and Digital Products, overseeing strategic initiatives across more than 40 countries. Prior experience at Capital One involved key P&L roles, driving significant growth in multiple financial services sectors. Anirban began a career at Accenture as a management consultant, following an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
