Bartosz Hawelka

Bartosz Hawelka is an experienced data professional with a comprehensive background in data engineering and data science. Currently, Bartosz serves as a Senior Data Engineer at both Prosus Group and Naspers Limited since September 2018, while also holding the position of Senior Data Scientist at Motion Analytica since May 2018. Previous roles include Senior Data Scientist at Numerico Technologies and a researcher role at Collective Sensing Research, alongside a significant research background at Z_GIS, the Department of Geoinformatics at the University of Salzburg, where Bartosz also pursued a PhD in GIScience. Additionally, Bartosz gained experience as a visiting researcher at the MIT Senseable City Lab and worked as a Data Scientist at CurrentCity Foundation. Bartosz's academic credentials include a PhD from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg and a master's degree in Geography with Geographic Information Science from Jagiellonian University.
