Theresa Dematteo

Theresa DeMatteo is an accomplished educator and technology integration leader with over 17 years of experience in the field of Elementary Education. Currently serving as Supervisor of Professional Development at Nassau BOCES since November 2022, Theresa previously held the position of Program Coordinator for Professional Development at the same organization. Prior to that, Theresa was the District Instructional Technology Lead for Oceanside Union Free School District from January 2022 to November 2022 and spent nearly 18 years with the NYC Department of Education, where key roles included teaching and serving as a School Technology Coordinator. Theresa holds advanced degrees in Educational Leadership and Elementary Education from The College of Saint Rose and Adelphi University, respectively, and is recognized for expertise in digital instructional techniques, teacher training, and developing 21st-century learners.
