Junping Shao

Junping Shao, CPA, CIA, CAMS, serves as the Chief Compliance Officer of 1851 Securities, Inc. since June 2017, leading compliance initiatives for variable products, acquisitions, and regulatory exams. Prior to this role, Junping held various compliance positions at Nassau Financial Group, including Assistant Vice President and Compliance Director, overseeing integration and compliance activities. Junping's previous experience includes pivotal roles at Aetna, where contributions to compliance management, AML assessments, and policy establishment were recognized, as well as audit roles at PwC and Clifton Gunderson LLP. Junping holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Ocean University of China.
