Matt Bynum Frm

Matt Bynum, FRM, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matt is currently employed at Nassau Financial Group as the VP of Enterprise Risk Management - Investments, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the AVP of Enterprise Risk Management - Investments at the same company from June 2018 to March 2023.

Before joining Nassau Financial Group, Matt worked at HRG Group, Inc. as the Vice President of Investments from February 2014 to January 2018. Matt also gained experience as a High Yield Credit Analyst at Five Island Asset Management from February 2013 to February 2014.

Earlier in their career, Matt held the position of Portfolio Finance Analyst/Trader at Harbinger Capital Partners from January 2008 to February 2013. Prior to that, they worked at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, LLP as a Senior Associate from January 2006 to January 2008.

Matt's career began at ExxonMobil Chemicals, Inc., Films Division, where they held the roles of Quality Manager from May 2003 to August 2005 and Development Engineer from July 2001 to May 2003.

Matt Bynum, FRM has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, which they completed from 1995 to 2000. Matt then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance from the University of Connecticut, which they completed from 2003 to 2005.
