Phil Gass

Phil Gass is the current Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Nassau Re. Phil has over fifteen years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Nassau Re, Phil was the Managing Director at Harbinger Group Inc from October 2011 to March 2015. Phil also served as the Chairman at Fidelity & Guaranty Life from January 2011 to December 2015. Phil's experience also includes working as a Senior Analyst & Director of Investments at Harbinger Capital Partners from January 2008 to October 2011, and as Vice President at GE Capital from January 2004 to December 2008. Phil began their career as an Associate - Turnarounds and Loan Workout at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein from January 2001 to December 2004.

Phil Gass's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, as well as high school from Chaminade High School. Phil also has certifications from the United States Judo Association in Judo - 3rd Degree Black Belt, and from the CFA Institute in Chartered Financial Analyst.
