Rachael Barker

Rachael Barker has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Rachael most recently worked at Nasty Gal, where they started as a Junior Graphic Designer in October 2019 and moved up to the position of Graphic Designer in May 2021. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Graphic Designer, starting in July 2022.

Prior to Nasty Gal, Rachael worked at SHRINE as a Branding and Product Development Coordinator from May 2018 to September 2019. Rachael also had an internship at The Gypsy Shrine as a Creative Content Intern in April and May 2018.

In addition, Rachael gained experience at Erdem as a Showroom and Wholesale Intern during Paris Fashion Week in February and March 2018. Their responsibilities included assisting with buyer meetings and negotiations, visual merchandising of the showroom, and styling products and models for press and media events.

Rounding out their work experience, Rachael worked as an E-Commerce and Studio Assistant at FLANNELS from May 2016 to June 2017.

Rachael Barker attended The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in International Fashion Promotion with a specialization in Marketing. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications from XChange Training. In September 2021, Rachael completed the Adobe After Effects Advanced Training certification. Prior to that, in August 2021, they obtained the HTML & CSS Introduction certification. Furthermore, in July 2021, Rachael completed the Adobe Illustrator Advanced Training certification.
