Daphne Shaw has had extensive experience in various roles within the technology industry. Daphne started their career at Akamai Technologies in 1998 as a Streaming Architect, where they worked until 2002. In 2003, Shaw joined Archivas as a Principal Software Engineer, contributing until 2007. Following this, they worked at Hitachi Data Systems as a Consulting Architect from 2007 to 2009. Shaw then joined Nasuni, where they held the position of Chief Science Officer from 2009 to 2016. Currently, their role title at Nasuni remains Chief Science Officer, but the start and end dates are not specified. Shaw also served as a Core Developer for the GnuPG Project from 2001 to 2017.
Daphne Shaw earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Cinematography from the School of Visual Arts in 1994. Daphne then pursued a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, completing their studies in 1998.
