Sekou (Koe) Murphy has a diverse work experience ranging from board member roles to Chief Financial Officer positions. In 2000, they started their career as a Lead Financial Analyst CPA at A.M. Best Company, where they worked until 2003. From 2003 to 2010, Sekou served as the Chief Investment Officer/Consultant at S Murphy Holdings LLC, focusing on investment, structured finance, and cash flow modeling. Sekou (Koe) then joined Bread for the City as the Chief Financial Officer from 2010 to 2019, followed by a role as the Chief Financial Officer at CCI Health & Wellness Services from 2020 to 2022. In addition to these positions, Sekou has also taken on various board member roles, including at Gilchrist and Horizon Foundation, and served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Howard County Government.
