Temechu Zewdie

Temechu Girma Z. is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in information technology, currently working at the National Association of Social Workers since January 2016. Temechu served as an Assistant Professor at the University of the District of Columbia from August 2022 to May 2024, and previously held the position of Information Technology Officer at the European Union External Service Action from March 2009 to August 2014. Earlier experience includes serving as a System Administrator at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia from January 2003 to March 2009. Temechu holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of the District of Columbia, a Master of Science in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance from the Virginia Institute of Science & Technology, and a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from HiLCoE School of Computer Science & Technology. Additionally, Temechu has an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Nicosia and an Associate's degree in Accounting and Finance from Addis Ababa University.
