Beccy Wilebore currently serves as the Chief Science Officer and Head of Research at Natcap since September 2018. Prior to this role, Beccy was a Visiting Researcher and Knowledge Exchange Fellow at the University of Oxford, focusing on mainstreaming Natural Capital in the UK. Beccy's experience includes a position as a Natural Capital Modeler at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where modeling natural capital and ecosystem service provision was the primary focus, as well as serving as an Early Career Research Fellow on a Google Impact project. Additional roles include Research Scientist at the University of Cambridge and Research Fellow at the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology, where Beccy authored a POSTnote on Urban Green Infrastructure. Beccy Wilebore began the academic journey with a PhD in Forest Ecology and Conservation from the University of Cambridge, complemented by studies in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London and a Natural Sciences degree at the University of Cambridge.
